Algebraic Cats

Here, taken at various times, are pictures showing five different cats reviewing, helping me with, and generally disapproving of my algebraic efforts involving celestial mechanics.

Fred 1
Here is our beloved Fred (RIP, 2004), checking a blank page for algebraic suitability. He's a little near-sighted. Got to have the right kind of paper if you want to be brilliant!

Fred 2
Fred renders his opinion in typical cat fashion.

Suki 1
Suki keeps an eye on progress. She makes me nervous, and I make a mistake.

Suki 2
Suki spots a potential problem.

Suki 3
Definitely not happy about that last result, which leaves a bad taste in her mouth.

Frank 1
Frank's mind is wandering a bit. He falls asleep in seminars.

Frank 2
"Ah, now this, over here, is interesting!"

Spike 1
Spike, our Zen cat, says he's not convinced...

Spike 2
Sudden interest. "You might have something here."

Spike 3
"Better check the derivation of that..."

Spike 4
"No, no, it's on the other page. Silly human. I'll wait."

Keiko 1
Keiko, our Master Algebraist, stops by to check.

Keiko 2
I wait patiently as she investigates an early argument...

Keiko 3
...and moves on to the next page...

Keiko 4
...and the next...(working through somebody else's math can take a long time)

Keiko 5
Okay, she's finally absorbed all the background calculations and is checking my brilliant conclusions...

Keiko 6
Disaster! An error so egregious she busts out laughing! I am humiliated!
