Murison worked on implementing a program to numerically investigate dynamical questions in the elliptic restricted three-body problem (ERTBP), including capture of planetary satellites and how tidal dissipation and planetary oblateness will affect that. Most of the code has been completed. Some remaining calculations to finish involve coordinate and velocity transformations between the rotating-pulsating frame and an inertial frame. The asteroids database component mentioned in last month's report will be used in the ERTBP code for asteroid studies.
Murison performed his duties as Secretary of the DDA. The upcoming 2007 meeting (in May) is in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
