Murison continued calculation of orbital parameter errors of an orbiting body from incomplete state vector observations taken from an orbiting platform. He began a set of numerical simulations of orbit determinations from generated 'observations'. He prepared and gave a contributed paper at the 2006 meeting of the DDA.

Murison continued exploring ideas for a new algorithm for fast solution of Kepler's equation. He thinks application of a genetic algorithm to the various methods, method orders, and parameter values will produce the optimum numerical method of solution.

Murison continued his duties as Secretary of the AAS Division on Dynamical Astronomy, helping the LOC with various tasks in preparation for the 2006 DDA meeting.
